The company Profidebt, s.r.o. was established in March 2005 as a subsidiary of the company Profireal, a.s. Profidebt operates on the market of retail debts. It is specialized in purchase, administration and collection of debts and it recovers debts also for mandate administration.

The idea to establish Profidebt dates back to the end of 2004. The management of the company PROFIREAL, a.s. analysed retail debt market and decided to set up a subsidiary company that would be specialized in purchase of retail mature debts in particular in natural persons from banks, financial institutions as well as trading companies.

Several months passed and in March 2005, Profidebt was actually incorporated in the Companies Register. First employees were hired and in the same time, first debts were purchased. Procedures for effective administration and recovery of a large amount of debts were gradually created and implemented into practice. A unique information system was under development that would lead to automation of all processes of debt administration.

In the middle of 2005, foundations were laid of the network of collecting employees who are the main prerequisite of successful recovery of debts in natural persons. At the end of the year, PROFIDEBT was administering debts of four prominent assignees whereas the collection of assigned debts was growing, which proved a correctly set system of debt recovery.

Company Profidebt still continues in its progressive development. Reorganization of the collection workers network led to the improvement of the whole collection network and increased efficiency in the collection process. Portfolio of purchased receivables has also grown. In almost six years of its existence Profidebt bought almost 81 thousand claims in nominal value 4,6 billion CZK and adopted nearly 71 thousand claims in nominal value 2,7 billion CZK to Mandate Administration.
